New Black Crowes Album Due Out In March/Australian Tour dates

Georgian rock 'n' roll legends the Black Crowes are due to release their first album of new studio material in seven years in March.

The album, entitled 'Warpaint', will be the first release on the band's newly formed Silver Arrow Records and will be distributed by Megaforce, Red and SonyBMG.

The album features eleven songs, ten of which were written by brothers Chris and Rich Robinson and a cover of the Reverend Charlie Jackson's 'God's Got It'.

The "most rock 'n' roll rock 'n' roll band in the world" is guaranteed to bring their soulful blues infused rock groove to the masses once again and will follow it up with a world tour.

So far the band have confirmed dates in Australia (Byron Bay Blues Festival) on March 24, followed by their first Australian tour since 1991 which will take them to April 5  followed by dates in Japan and Germany.

'Warpaint' will be released on March 4.

28 – Thebarton Theatre, Adelaide
29 – Palais Theatre, Melbourne
30 – Horden Pavillion, Sydney

APRIL
1 – WIN Centre, Wollongong
2 – Royal Theatre, Canberra
3 – Civic Theatre, Newcastle

Tickets to all shows are on sale through Ticketek on December 7 except the Blues Festival, which is on sale now.
